Straightening Out Stevie Nicks

The other day I found a short interview with Stevie Nicks in More magazine. Asked about her fountain of youth, she made this comment:

"Onstage, I can't look like a 63-year-old grandma. I have to keep my hair beautiful and my body pretty cool. I have to wear something youthful but not age inappropriate, and I can stay young as long as I want to."

Now, I love you, Stevie, but I have to straighten you out on a couple of things.

  1. You can not stay young as long as you want to. There is no getting around aging, short of dying. What you can do is stay as young looking as long as you want to.

  2. You do look like a 63-year-old grandma. Well, I don't think you ever had children, but the fact is, you are 63 and you could be a grandma.

So, Stevie, for future interviews, I would like to hear you say, "I want to show the world what a 63-year-old woman looks like when she cares about the way she looks and lives her life to the fullest!"

Rock on, Stevie!
