Style Tip for the Pear-shaped Body

Do you carry most of your weight on your bottom half? The classic Pear shape? Don't you love it when you are compared to a fruit? Well, you are in the majority when it comes to women. Read this article to find out why this is so:

Most of us don't have to worry about survival during times of drought any more, but we still have those genes and we still tend to often have more weight in that area than we want. No amount of exercise is going to make that change. You may slim down, but if your bottom half was bigger than your top when you weighed 180, it will still be bigger than your top half at 130.

So what's a style-concious girl supposed to do?

Give those thights a hug and tell them you love them, then dress them in figure-flattering styles like pants in substantial fabrics with no side pockets. Don't let shirt hems end at the largest point of your thighs, and, wear shirts with shape. That means shirts, tops and jackets that are tapered at the waist and with details like a v-neck or necklace that draws attention to the top half of your body and your pretty face!
